with a Live Woodwind Quintet! Is classical music FUN? Yes!! Learning about wind instruments and their repertoire becomes fabulously entertaining with live music, magic, special effects and an imaginary concert tour of the world. A professional woodwind quintet joins magician/narrator Margaret Steele and Angel the Wonder Cockatiel in a forty-five minute concert guaranteed to hold kids' attention and help them learn to love music. Designed and written by Margaret Steele, this program was first performed at New York's Harlem School of the Arts, and then featured on the Discovery Channel Canada documentary Grand Illusion, The Story of Magic. Woodwind Wizardry is on the Arts-in-Education rosters of both the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and the Queens Symphony Orchestra, and has been performed in schools throughout New York and New Jersey. Forty-five minutes, for grades K-5. More info |
