Margaret Steele's newest project
is as writer and performer of a one-woman play, portraying the extraordinary
life and magic of legendary Vaudeville magician, Adelaide Herrmann (1853-1932).
Known as The Queen of Magic, Madame Herrmann was the wife and assistant
of Alexander Herrmann, the greatest magician of the nineteenth century.
Upon his sudden death in 1896, Adelaide continued on with his show and
was herself a major star of magic for over thirty years. More
